Gochang-gun Recruiting Students for 'Our Neighborhood Facilitator Training Course'

[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jae-gil] Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 10th that it is recruiting students for the ‘Our Neighborhood Facilitator Training Course’ at the Cultural City Support Center until the 16th.

Hosted by the Gochang Cultural City Support Center and organized by the Korea Facilitator Federation and the cooperative Discussion & Research, this training is conducted as part of the citizen cultural leader training project to strengthen the basic resources of the healing cultural city.

The training will be held on the 16th for a total of 5 hours at the county library’s cultural lecture room.

Twenty students will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis, targeting graduates of the 1st and 2nd classes of the Gochang Cultural Tourism Foundation cultural planners, village community leaders, representatives and activists of local cultural organizations, village operation committee chairpersons, village chiefs, and office managers.

All trainees who complete the course will be issued a certificate from the Korea Facilitator Federation.

In particular, outstanding performers will be given opportunities to work as facilitators related to the healing cultural city projects hosted by the Gochang Cultural City Support Center, such as the ‘Cultural City Citizens Forum’ and ‘Gochang Cultural Assembly.’

The instructors will include Jeong Myeong-hyun, chairman of the cooperative Discussion & Research, Jeong Byeong-seok, vice president of the Korea Facilitator Federation, and Tae Mun-ho, director of the cooperative Discussion & Research.
