[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Air Busan announced on the 10th that it will conduct a 'Vaccine Encouragement Campaign' offering domestic seat service benefits (paid seats) currently provided for a fee free of charge to COVID-19 vaccine recipients.
The campaign, running from the 11th to July 15th, is available to all vaccinated passengers (including those who have received the first dose).
For vaccinated passengers, inland routes (Busan~Gimpo, Ulsan~Gimpo) will offer paid seats such as front seats and emergency exit seats free of charge, and Jeju routes (Busan~Jeju, Gimpo~Jeju, Ulsan~Jeju) will provide the 'Priority Baggage Handling' service allowing passengers to receive their luggage first.
Both services are available to the first five passengers per flight on a first-come, first-served basis. To use the service, passengers must present a government-issued vaccination certificate at the airport counter on the day of boarding.
Air Busan stated, "We planned this campaign to lead the way in overcoming the COVID-19 crisis by strengthening in-flight infectious disease prevention and promoting safe air travel through the Vaccine Encouragement Campaign."
