[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Soyoung] Joo Ho-young, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, fiercely criticized his competitor Lee Jun-seok, saying, "The entire opposition camp should not be driven into crisis by 'the unbearable lightness of that mouth.'"

On the 9th, Joo wrote on his Facebook, "The presidential election is about choosing the vanguard to fight a do-or-die battle, not about being a political commentator giving unsolicited advice," expressing his stance.

He posted an article titled "Words more unpleasant than saying 'blocking Yoon Seok-yeol's party entry,'" stating, "This morning, candidate Lee Jun-seok appeared on a radio broadcast and said, 'There is no way to block Yoon, as he is not involved in any shameless crime.'"

He continued, "'If (former Prosecutor General Yoon wants to join the party) accepting his entry is natural' would have been a sufficient expression. Did candidate Lee really have to put it that way?" he questioned.

He also pointed out, "It has only been a few days since he faced public criticism for saying, 'If it is a criminal issue related to former Prosecutor General Yoon, it cannot be covered up.'"

Furthermore, "Especially during this party convention, many party members have continuously expressed concerns about candidate Lee Jun-seok's reckless remarks," he added.

Joo warned, "Every word from the party leader carries significant influence over politics and society as a whole. One careless expression can cause unnecessary misunderstandings and conflicts."

He continued, "A single word can cause the party's approval rating to plummet and throw the party into chaos. We must remember that a word carries a mountain of responsibility," and warned, "We have neither time to practice nor the luxury to make trial-and-error mistakes."
