11st, Hope Shopping Eco Bag Sold Out in 5 Minutes... Lee Seung-yoon Fulfills Pledge

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] 11st announced on the 8th that all 5,000 units of the ‘Hope Shopping Eco Bag’ sold out in just 5 minutes. The entire sales amount, worth about 100 million KRW, will be donated as a hope sponsorship fund to be used later for supporting abandoned and companion animals.


The Hope Shopping Eco Bag was planned as a limited edition, containing an eco bag personally illustrated by singer Lee Seung-yoon, the Hope Shopping model, along with a promise label pledging responsibility as a pet owner, and a guidebook with detailed information about companion animals, all packaged in an eco-friendly box.


The 3,000 units that went on sale from midnight on the 5th sold out in 3 minutes, and the 2,000 units sold from 1 PM on the 7th were all sold within 2 minutes. As Lee Seung-yoon fulfilled his pledge to hold a performance upon selling 3,000 units, a video will be released on the 22nd at 7 PM on 11st’s official YouTube channel ‘11TV’.


11st stated, “Customers empathized with and responded positively to the campaign supporting abandoned and companion animals, resulting in many purchases immediately after the sales opened,” and added, “The hope sponsorship fund collected together with customers will be used for meaningful activities that deliver hope to abandoned and companion animals.”


Meanwhile, 11st released a video introducing Lee Seung-yoon’s Hope Shopping Eco Bag on YouTube along with the start of eco bag sales on the 5th. The video garnered nearly 3 million views and about 1,500 comments within 4 days of its release.
