Yangsan City Sewerage Division Donates 5 Million Won to Yangsan City Welfare Foundation

All employees of the Sewage Department in Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam, donated 5 million won to the Yangsan City Welfare Foundation.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] On the 7th, the Sewage Department of Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam, donated 5 million KRW to the Yangsan City Welfare Foundation to help underprivileged neighbors.

The Sewage Department was selected as an excellent institution in Group I (public sewage management offices with a total population of 300,000 or more) in the '2020 Public Sewage Treatment Facility Operation and Management Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of Environment, and donated the 5 million KRW prize money received.

A Yangsan City official said, "We will continue to improve insufficient areas such as maintenance of aging facilities and odor reduction projects in the region to enhance the efficiency of public sewage operation and management."
