Changwon Mayor Heo Seong-mu Inspects On-site Quarantine Rules on the First Day of Senior Center Reopening

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] On the 7th, Heo Seong-mu, mayor of Changwon City, visited the Banji 3rd Senior Center in Seongsan-gu on the first day of its opening to urge compliance with quarantine rules and to check the inconveniences experienced by the elderly.

Mayor Heo visited the senior center to inspect the inconveniences in daily life, especially advising caution in managing health during the summer and urging compliance with quarantine rules.

The city will open senior centers starting from the 7th for elderly people who have passed 14 days after their first vaccination.

Due to concerns about additional infections, entry of outsiders is prohibited, and food consumption such as meals is not allowed.

Administrative efforts are being focused to ensure usage under compliance with quarantine rules such as wearing masks and practicing social distancing.

Mayor Heo said, "We will do our best to normalize all daily life so that smiles can bloom on the faces of the elderly," and added, "We hope the elderly will actively participate in vaccination and endure just a little more."
