WISET Jeonnam Mokpo National University Project Group Hosts Industry-Academia Linked Employment Competency Special Lecture Program

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The WISET Jeonnam Regional Mokpo University Project Group (Director Park Bok-hee) at the National Mokpo University announced on the 7th that it conducted online special lectures on employment competency linked to the 4th Industrial Revolution for science and engineering students in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions on the 21st of last month and the 4th of this month.

The special lecture held on the 21st of last month was delivered by Kim Eun-kyung, head of SK C&C Digital Tech Center, under the theme "The Talent Desired by Companies and Preparing My Career."

This lecture was conducted with the keywords "4th Industrial Revolution, AI, Cloud," and explained recruitment-related cases and preparation based on experience to students aiming for employment. It was conducted by receiving students' questions in advance and providing practical answers to the questions students were curious about.

The special lecture held on the 4th was delivered by Shim Ji-yeon, senior researcher at the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, under the theme "Root Technology Leading the Future of Companies."

The lecture was conducted with the keywords "Carbon, Root Technology," introducing various terms and technologies related to root technology and covering the preparation process necessary for entering companies.

This special lecture was conducted online in real-time, and about 50 students from Mokpo University and Suncheon University participated simultaneously through online access, showing successful participation.

In particular, students who attended the lecture commented, "It was good to get practical tips for interview preparation," and "I was very interested in the company, and hearing explanations from an incumbent was very helpful."

Meanwhile, the WISET Jeonnam Regional Mokpo University Project Group plans to conduct a real-time online special lecture on the 18th at 11 a.m. by Kang Sung-kwan, director of the Smart Talent Development Institute, under the theme "4th Industrial Revolution and Job Exploration."
