Kim San, Muan County Governor, Conducts 'Safe School Arrival' Campaign on First Day of Full In-Person Classes

[Muan＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Jeonnam Muan-gun announced that County Governor Kim San visited Oryong Happy Elementary School on the 7th to mark the full reopening of elementary, middle, and high schools in the Jeonnam region, distributing masks and sticker-type thermometers to students as part of a safe school attendance campaign.

The faces of the children who visited the school that day were full of excitement, and Governor Kim San handed out masks to the students while urging them to comply with quarantine guidelines.

A parent met on the way to school said, “Both parents and children have been going through difficult times due to irregular school attendance for over a year,” and expressed delight, saying, “With the full reopening that started after a long time, the children’s daily lives seem to be filled with vitality.”

Governor Kim San said, “We will cooperate with the Office of Education to establish a thorough quarantine system so that parents can send their children to school without worry and the children can continue to attend school safely.”
