An official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said about the ruling, "We are closely monitoring the related developments."
The official added, "We will continue to maintain an open stance in discussing reasonable solutions acceptable to all parties, including both governments, while respecting judicial rulings and victims' rights and considering Korea-Japan relations, and will continue related consultations with the Japanese side."
