[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] From midnight on the 7th, Haman-gun, Gyeongnam will pilot the first phase of the revised social distancing plan, which relaxes restrictions on private gatherings of five or more people.
This pilot will be implemented for one week until the 13th in 10 counties within the province, and depending on the situation, it is expected to be extended from the 14th to July 4th.
The main points are that gatherings, outings, and exercise are allowed under compliance with quarantine rules.
There are no restrictions on facility operating hours or bans on gatherings, and multi-use facilities can be used while maintaining a minimum distance of 1 meter.
However, some quarantine rules are strengthened. Indoor and outdoor private gatherings are allowed up to 8 people, but private gatherings of 5 or more are prohibited in entertainment bars, karaoke rooms, and nightclubs.
The ban on gatherings, events, and meals at religious facilities is also maintained.
Instead of the pilot application of the revised social distancing plan, joint inspections for strict compliance with quarantine rules will be conducted. Violating businesses will be dealt with under a zero-tolerance policy, including a one-strike-out system.
