Jeju Air Celebrates 15th Anniversary... Domestic Fares Sold at 9,700 KRW

[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Jeju Air announced that to commemorate the 15th anniversary of its first route, Jeju~Gimpo, launched on June 5, 2006, it will hold an event for three days starting from the 7th, giving all customers 1,500 Refresh Points.

From 10 a.m. on the 7th until 10 a.m. on the 9th, Jeju Air will conduct a quiz event through its mobile app, web, and homepage, awarding 1,500 points to customers who answer correctly. During this period, customers who purchase the ‘Business Light Ticket,’ which offers increased seat pitch, or the ‘Carrying Bag’ that provides an airline transport bicycle carrying bag to safely transport bicycles to the destination, will receive 15,000 points.

Jeju Air’s Refresh Points depart from the traditional airline ‘bonus ticket’ concept, allowing members to freely use the points they accumulate, purchase additional points if needed, and conveniently gift points to family or friends. One point is equivalent to one Korean won and can be used to purchase Jeju Air tickets, pre-paid baggage, pre-ordered in-flight meals, or advance seat selection. Points awarded through this event must be used within three months from the date of accumulation.

During the event period, one-way total fares for domestic flights departing in June, including fuel surcharges and airport facility fees, will be sold starting from 9,700 KRW. Ticket reservations will be available from 10 a.m. on June 7 via Jeju Air’s homepage, mobile app, and web.

From the 10th until the end of this month, a discount coupon of up to 3,000 KRW will be issued for reservations on regional routes. The coupon can be used on inland routes such as Gimpo~Busan, Gwangju, Yeosu, and regional departures to Jeju on routes including Jeju~Busan, Muan, Gwangju, Yeosu, Gunsan, Cheongju, and Daegu. Coupons can be issued during the event period and must be used by June 13.

The lowest-priced tickets may sell out early, and prices vary depending on departure times and schedules. Also, ‘FLY’ tickets do not include free checked baggage, so customers should carefully consider their travel needs before booking.
