Korea Institute of Materials Science to Hold 'Carbon Neutrality and Electric Vehicle' Technology Briefing on the 17th

Technical Explanations in 10 Fields at Ilsan KINTEX

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-su] The Korea Institute of Materials Science (KIMS) will hold a "Promising Technologies for Commercialization in the Carbon Neutrality Field" briefing session on the 17th at KINTEX in Ilsan.

The theme of this event is carbon neutrality and electric vehicles. Based on evaluation criteria such as △technologies capable of producing prototypes and performance evaluation of materials, components, and systems, △experimental data, prototype test results, and certified technologies, △domestic and overseas patented technologies, and △technologies requiring marketing promotion in national policies and related industries, a total of 10 technologies will be selected and presented: 5 in the carbon neutrality field and 5 in the electric vehicle field.

In this regard, KIMS has started selecting "KIMS Highlight Technologies" from this year to discover research achievements related to national policy issues and social problem-solving among its owned technologies, aiming to promote technology transfer to companies and build public consensus. The selected technologies receive support such as △IP portfolio construction, △investigation of patent infringement, △business model (BM) development, △technology commercialization strategy establishment, △technology valuation, △prototype production and other commercialization support, △production of sales material kits (SMK) for technology promotion, △media coverage, and △performance exhibitions and exhibit production.

KIMS plans to establish a platform to systematize research achievement promotion and marketing through the briefing session to be held this time.
