Case 2838 is an employee at a call center in Dong-gu who was classified as a close contact of a previously confirmed colleague. Symptoms appeared during self-quarantine, leading to testing and confirmation.
Case 2839 was a contact of case 1075 from Namdong-gu, Incheon, and had been in self-quarantine since May 31 when symptoms developed.
Two more cases were confirmed during pre-release testing.
Case 2840 was under self-quarantine related to livestock product distribution, and case 2841 was linked to a commercial establishment in the Gwangju Express Bus Terminal.
Since 13 cases were confirmed on May 30 in the Gwangju area, the daily confirmed cases have been 5→5→4→7→9→2→4, indicating a trend toward stabilization.
