[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Dongwon Home Food announced on the 7th that its online grocery market ‘The Banchan &’ has launched two ready-to-eat restaurant meals from the Michelin Guide-selected famous restaurant ‘Tuk Tuk Noodle Thai’ (Yeonnam Galbi Noodles, Thai-style Stir-fried Pork with Basil).

Located in Yeonnam-dong, Seoul, ‘Tuk Tuk Noodle Thai’ is a Thai specialty restaurant famous for authentic Thai cuisine presented by local chefs and its exotic atmosphere. It has been selected for the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand for five consecutive years since 2016, praised for its taste, cost-effectiveness, and ambiance.

Yeonnam Galbi Noodles is a rice noodle dish generously served with pork ribs and pork neck, released in two types: a refrigerated meal kit product containing prepared ingredients and seasoning, and a frozen product suitable for long-term storage. The Thai-style Stir-fried Pork with Basil is a seasoned sauce product stir-fried with minced pork, Thai chili peppers, and basil leaves, making it ideal for various cooking uses.

The Banchan & developed the RMR menu by directly receiving recipes from the chefs of Tuk Tuk Noodle Thai. At the DSCK Center, certified for food safety management (HACCP), more than 20 chefs and 80 cooks carefully prepare the dishes by hand, aiming to deliver home-cooked quality.

Since the end of last year, The Banchan & has been showcasing various RMR menus created in collaboration with famous restaurants through a special exhibition called ‘Restaurant of the Month.’ Collaborations include well-known restaurants such as ‘Hannam Bukeotguk’ and ‘Ilhosik,’ as well as cooking YouTuber ‘Simbanggol Jubu,’ enabling customers to easily enjoy restaurant flavors at home.

The price of ‘Yeonnam Galbi Noodles’ is 13,000 KRW, and the price of ‘Thai-style Stir-fried Pork with Basil’ (200g) is 8,200 KRW.
