CU Launches Campaign to Find Long-Term Missing Children... Also Raising Donation Funds

CU Launches Campaign to Find Long-Term Missing Children... Also Raising Donation Funds Yonsei University Pa-dong students are taking a commemorative photo to promote the missing children search project.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] BGF Retail announced on the 7th that it will launch the long-term missing children search campaign "See you soon Challenge" in collaboration with Yonsei University's social innovation project team "Padong." The campaign expresses the hope that long-term missing children will soon reunite with their families and allows anyone to easily participate through the everyday use of Instagram.

To participate in the challenge, individuals upload daily photos on their personal Instagram accounts, adding a long-term missing children card news as the last slide and tagging Padong's Instagram account. The long-term missing children card news is created by Padong based on information received from the Missing Children Search Association, featuring images that capture Gen Z sensibilities, and is provided weekly on Padong's Instagram account.

BGF Retail supports the campaign by tagging Padong's Instagram and posting promotional content on CU's official Instagram account. Donations are also made to encourage participation in the campaign. BGF Retail will donate 525 KRW per participant at the end of the challenge. The amount 525 KRW symbolizes May 25, the Day of Missing Children, and all donations collected through this challenge will be donated to the Missing Children Search Association.

A BGF Retail official stated, "We united in this project to solve the issue of long-term missing children from the perspective of Gen Z rather than the older generation. Since it is crucial that many people pay attention to find long-term missing children, we will actively seek various ways to spread content that can raise awareness about long-term missing children."
