Eliminate Cluster Infections... Gangnam-gu Special Quarantine Week Operation

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) is designating the three weeks from the 24th of last month to the 13th of this month as the "Gangnam-style Special Quarantine Week" to eradicate group infections, concentrating all administrative efforts to strengthen on-site inspections.

The district will first conduct comprehensive testing of workers at 66 large academies and construction sites. Using proactive testing with self-test kits that provide results within 30 minutes, the plan is to detect confirmed cases early and prevent the spread of infection.

In the event of a group infection, all related departments will conduct joint epidemiological investigations, and violators of quarantine rules will be subject to a zero-tolerance policy, receiving fines or prosecution without warnings.

For multi-use facilities, the "Ansim Call" (phone-based entry log) service will be provided free of charge until the end of the year. This method registers entry with a single phone call and targets 23,000 locations including general and casual restaurants, beauty salons, bathhouses, indoor sports facilities, and door-to-door sales companies. Personal information is automatically deleted after four weeks to protect privacy.

This is to prevent personal information leaks caused by handwritten logs and to resolve the inconvenience of using QR codes.

For inquiries, contact the department responsible for each industry. Indoor sports facilities are handled by the Culture and Sports Division, door-to-door sales by the Regional Economy Division, and general and casual restaurants, beauty salons, and bathhouses by the Hygiene Division.
