On the afternoon of the 5th, at De Beach Golf Course in Geoje-si, Gyeongnam (par 72, 7,157 yards), Heo defeated Kang Kyung-nam (38) by 1 hole in the second match of Group A in the round of 16 group stage of the KPGA Descent Korea Munsingwear Match Play (total prize money 800 million won). After crushing Mika Shin (USA) by 5 holes in the first match that morning, he is on a 2-match winning streak. After the round of 64 and round of 32, the 16 players were again divided into 4 groups to play 3 group stage matches in this unconventional format.

The first place in each group advances to the final and the 3rd-4th place match according to points, while the second place advances to the 5th-8th place match. Heo In-hoe is proud of his good chemistry with his wife and caddie, Yuk Eun-chae (33). This is his second win of the season and the fifth overall since winning the GS Caltex Maekyung Open last month. Mika Shin recorded 1 win and 1 loss after defeating ‘No. 1 seed’ Kim Tae-hoon (36, Bizplay) by 3 holes. Kim Tae-hoon and Kang Kyung-nam were eliminated from advancing to the final with 1 draw and 1 loss. In Group B, Ahn Jun-hyung (27) leads with 1 win and 1 draw.

He defeated Hong Soon-sang (40) by 3 holes in the first match and tied with Lee Dong-min (36) in the second match. Lee Dong-min has 1 win and 1 draw, Hong Soon-sang 1 win and 1 loss, and Lee Sung-ho (34) has 2 losses. In Group C, Lee Tae-hoon (Canada) achieved 2 wins.
