[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 3rd that it is recruiting candidates for the 'Return-to-Farming and Rural Settlement Support Project' for return-to-farming and rural settlers in the area.
This project consists of a total of 6 types and 12 locations including agricultural start-up, housing stability, capacity building, and community harmony programs, aiming to help new return-to-farming and rural settlers successfully settle in agriculture and rural areas.
Eligibility for application is new return-to-farming and rural settlers who have moved into the county within 5 years, are household heads of households with two or more members under the age of 65.
Applicants wishing to apply can submit their application forms and business plans to the Agricultural Technology Center by the 18th, and for the agricultural start-up and housing purchase support projects, applications can be submitted until the 7th of next month.
A county official said, "We expect this to be an opportunity for return-to-farming and rural settlers to settle stably in Yeonggwang."
