[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Kyowon Group's health appliance brand Wells announced on the 3rd that it has launched the Wells Farm Baby Vegetable Package, which helps with nutrition for pregnant women and infants.

According to Wells, Wells Farm Baby Vegetable Package is a vegetable package consisting of five types including butterhead, vitamin multicolor, and romaine, designed not only for children but also for pregnant women.

Recently, Wells analyzed the advantages and selection factors of using Wells Farm through user surveys, and based on the fact that about 82% of parents with children in lower grades or below cited 'helping children form vegetarian habits' and 'fresh and healthy food' as reasons for preference, they explained that they newly configured a seedling package for these groups.

With this launch, the Wells Farm functional vegetable packages have increased to a total of six types. The currently operated Wells Farm packages include ▲'Child Growth' composed of vegetables that help promote growth and bone health ▲'Beauty Vegetable' for diet and skin beauty ▲'Vitality Vegetable' that boosts energy with vegetables having metabolism and antioxidant functions ▲'Anti-cancer Wrap Vegetable' rich in beta-carotene, an anti-cancer component that helps prevent cancer ▲and 'Sleep Vegetable' containing lactucin, a sleep-inducing component.

Additionally, Wells is newly introducing the 'Wells Farm Live Pack' to expand the experience of fresh Wells Farm vegetables. It is a seedling delivery service where customers can directly experience the living Wells Farm functional vegetables grown at the Paju Wells Smart Farm Factory before using the device. To maintain growth conditions, the vegetables are delivered with roots along with a moisture-containing medium.

A Kyowon Group official said, "As interest in healthy functional vegetable intake through Wells Farm is gradually increasing, we will take the lead in popularizing home plant cultivators by meeting a wider variety of preferences."
