Gyeongsangnam-do Provides Scholarships for Children of Small and Medium Enterprise Workers

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 2nd that it will provide scholarships for children of small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) workers.

Considering the social atmosphere depressed by COVID-19, Gyeongnam Province will select scholarship recipients for children of SME workers with a budget of 50 million won.

The selection targets are university students who, as of the announcement date on the 7th, have an address in the province and whose parents have worked for more than six months at an SME in the province or have retired from an SME in the province and are receiving employment insurance unemployment benefits.

First-round recipients of the 2021 Gyeongsangnam-do workers' children scholarship are excluded from eligibility.

Applications for the scholarship can be submitted in person or by mail to the relevant department of the city or county office where the worker's workplace is located from the 22nd until July 11th.
