[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Hi-Mart announced on the 3rd that it will strengthen the product lineup of its private brand (PB) ‘Hi-Made’.
In April, Lotte Hi-Mart newly launched Hi-Made by subdividing it into four sub-brands. These include Hi-Made Basic, a cost-effective product focused on basic performance; Hi-Made Design, featuring differentiated designs; Hi-Made Idea, customized products reflecting various customer lifestyles; and Hi-Made Series, which bundles related products under various themes.
As time spent at home increased, Lotte Hi-Mart released trending kitchen appliances such as waffle makers and two-burner induction cooktops in May for the ‘home cook’ segment that enjoys cooking at home. In June, new products will be launched for customers with high interest in personal hygiene. The new ultrasonic cleaner in the Hi-Made Idea line is an eco-friendly product considering customer health. It sterilizes and cleans small tableware, fruits, and ingredients using ultrasound without detergent.
A Lotte Hi-Mart official said, “Lotte Hi-Mart is subdividing Hi-Made into sub-brands and expanding the product lineup to introduce PB products that reflect changing consumer trends and diverse customer needs. We will continue to strive to develop and launch products suitable for price, performance, and customer lifestyles.”
