Diageo Korea Introduces Vaccine Leave System

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Diageo Korea announced on the 3rd that it will introduce a vaccine leave system for all employees to encourage COVID-19 vaccination.

With the introduction of this vaccine leave, employees who receive the COVID-19 vaccine can take up to 2 days of special paid leave, including the day of vaccination, for each of the first and second doses, depending on their personal health condition.

Diageo Korea's vaccine leave system was established to actively participate in the government's vaccination plan and leave recommendation guidelines to overcome the recent COVID-19 situation and to ensure the health and safety of employees. Diageo Korea strongly encourages employees to take sufficient rest using their personal annual leave if abnormal symptoms persist after the special leave.
