Lotte Department Store said, "considering that many people are planning homecations (vacations enjoyed at home) this year due to COVID-19, we have prepared a living event worth 3 billion KRW for the summer 'homecation crowd'." A total of 78 brands including Downing, Fissler, Philips, Allergman, and Villeroy & Boch are participating. More than 80 products can be found at discounts of up to 80%.
The representative products of the 'Lotte Living Fair' are bedding items. Allergman's Brenner Modal quilt set is sold at 229,000 KRW for a single size. At Sleep & Sleep, the IU Sleepfit goose down bedding set (goose down quilt (SS) + soft poly blanket (L) + sleep mask + IU mini banner) is sold for 250,000 KRW.
Furniture brand Downing offers a single recliner (Alpha 211) designed at an ergonomic angle for 1,090,000 KRW, and the American aromatherapy brand Danny McKenzie, famous for aroma oils and diffusers, offers a square Medi Candle (8oz) + USB electric lighter set at 60,000 KRW during the discount event. For the 'home cafe,' Villeroy & Boch's New Wave cafe mugs (2P) are sold for 57,000 KRW, and Fissler's Classic Edge cooktop (3 burners) is sold for 1,200,000 KRW.
Demand for 'Pyeonrimium' (a compound of convenience + premium) home appliances, which save time and effort in housework, is also expected to increase, so a home appliance event will be held. From the 7th to the 13th, all department stores will offer eight types of home appliances including robot vacuum cleaners, dishwashers, dryers, air conditioners, fans, and massage chairs. Eight single brands selling Pyeonrimium home appliances such as Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Winia Dimchae, and Panasonic Anma will provide Lotte gift certificates worth about 8% of the purchase amount when purchasing products with KB Kookmin Card. A 3% discount benefit is also available through the Lotte Department Store application.
Meanwhile, Lotte Department Store has recently prepared an event in the form of a mobile mock test popular among the MZ generation, where solving problems offers various discount benefits. The event consists of four subjects: cosmetics, fashion, living, and F&B, and customers can receive discount coupons by solving four problems per subject.
