[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] The DGB Social Contribution Foundation announced on the 2nd that it conducted a financial complex experience program called ‘Finance Day (FINANCE-DAY)’ for students of T’way Air and Gyeongbuk High-tech High School, which included a career lecture on cabin crew professions.
This program was planned following the business agreement signed on April 27 between DGB Financial Group and T’way Air to promote various social contribution activities by utilizing specialized infrastructure.
Along with the financial professional career experience program at the DGB Financial Experience Park, the program also includes career lectures given directly by T’way Air’s professional human resources, such as flight crew (pilots) and cabin crew. Aviation safety education will also be conducted at the Aviation Training Center (located at the cargo terminal of Gimpo Airport).
The program is provided three times a year for youth, who are future resources in the region. Starting with the lecture on this day, the ‘T’way Crew Class,’ which includes financial career experience, airline career lectures, and aviation safety experience at the Aviation Training Center, will be held in August.
Kim Tae-oh, Chairman of DGB Financial Group, said, “We will further expand infrastructure in various specialized fields for responsible social contribution activities,” adding, “We will strive to create a healthy corporate culture for sustainable management and continue to build our reputation not only nationwide but also in the global market.”
Since the opening of the DGB Financial Experience Park in October last year, DGB Financial Group has been responsibly fulfilling its role as a financial education hub center in the region by collaborating with organizations such as the Daegu Home Care Senior Welfare Association, Daegu Regional Self-Support Center Association, Daegu City Youth Policy Division, and Daegu City Youth Center to expand inclusive finance for financially vulnerable groups.
In addition, through the DGB Financial Education Center, professional financial education instructors are dispatched to schools under the ‘One Company One School’ program in the region. In April, the group launched the financial education platform app ‘IM Happy Finance Classroom,’ offering real-time online financial education and various content.
