Seoul Livestock Cooperative Achieves 3.5 Trillion KRW in Mutual Savings Deposits

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] NongHyup Seoul Regional Headquarters (Head Lee Dae-yeop) held a ceremony on the 1st at Seoul Livestock NongHyup (Chairman Jin Gyeong-man) to present the achievement tower for reaching 3.5 trillion KRW in mutual finance deposits.

Seoul Livestock NongHyup has grown significantly over the past three years, achieving 3 trillion KRW in mutual finance deposits in April 2018 and reaching 3.5 trillion KRW on the 24th of last month, the first nationwide among NongHyup branches.

Lee Dae-yeop, Head of Seoul NongHyup, praised the achievement, saying, "This valuable accomplishment was made possible through the efforts of all employees despite difficulties in business operations due to COVID-19, various regulations in the financial industry, and prolonged low growth and low interest rate trends."

Jin Gyeong-man, Chairman of Seoul Livestock NongHyup, said, "This achievement was attained with the united efforts of members, customers, and employees despite challenging management conditions," adding, "We will continue to do our best so that both urban and rural areas can grow together."

Meanwhile, Seoul Livestock NongHyup boasts the largest scale nationwide in deposit and loan size, operating 28 financial branches, 3 Hanaro Marts, a feed factory, and a livestock processing center.
