[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Mak ICS, a company specializing in ventilators and respiratory therapy devices, announced on the 1st that it has confirmed an additional supply of 250 respiratory therapy devices to Thailand through IDS.
This month, 100 units of the HFT700 respiratory therapy device and 150 units of the HFT500 will be supplied. Including the 300 respiratory therapy devices supplied to Thailand recently, the cumulative total reaches 550 units.
A Mak ICS official stated, “The respiratory therapy devices, prepared as a new growth engine, are targeting advanced country markets, and procedures to expand supply in Europe, mainly Italy and the United Kingdom, are underway. In the United States, after completing the pre-marketing process, orders have been secured in advance, and we are awaiting the final FDA approval results.”
He added, “Recently, the importance and excellence of the respiratory therapy devices have been proven through demonstrations in many countries, and supply requests continue in Southeast Asia and Latin America. We expect that in the future, the supply target countries will expand not only to advanced countries but also to emerging countries.”
Mak ICS expects to generate more than 30% of its total sales from respiratory therapy devices this year. All procedures related to the factory expansion that had been underway have been completed, and the company plans to accelerate the increase in production volume of respiratory therapy devices going forward.
