[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jonghwa] Code Asset Co., Ltd. (CEO Yang Wonjin), which operates a code (number)-based integrated platform service, announced on the 27th that it has succeeded in developing the world's first code (number)-based integrated platform 'CodeMap'. 'CodeMap' is a one-person social media platform service that links individually in real time.
Unlike existing barcodes or QR codes, CodeMap developed by Code Asset is a sharing platform that matches producer groups and consumer groups in real time by region or content. Users can scan the CodeMap exposed or posted in various media such as newspapers, magazines, and broadcasts to access the platform.
Yang Wonjin, CEO of Code Asset, said, "We have succeeded in developing CodeMap, which codes the consonants and vowels of Hangul based on a global patent," adding, "We are currently testing ahead of full-scale service. In the future, we plan to support easy access and use of the CodeMap platform through Google and Apple's stores."
Code Asset has registered a patent for a 'real-time information distribution system and information distribution method based on codes and keywords using smart terminals' by product, service, and content type through platformization of media such as newspapers and TV, and has also completed international patents (PCT) in Japan, the United States, Singapore, Russia, and other countries.
CodeMap divides hundreds of numbers and codes by industry, occupation, and product, then applies them to the CodeMap system. Using location-based services (LBS, GPS), regardless of where subscribers are, unlike existing platforms, the relevant businesses appear in order of proximity and information is provided accordingly.
CodeMap aims to create a healthy matching ecosystem that avoids unfair information provision and promotes equal opportunities through fair information provision, thereby fostering a culture of communication and sharing.
CEO Yang said, "The valuation of the two patented technologies used in the development of CodeMap is 56.8 billion KRW," adding, "We will create a more advanced content sharing platform that surpasses Kakao, Uber, Airbnb, and Amazon. We will also expand overseas and grow into a unicorn company."
