Afrozone Chairman Kim Bong-jun Donates 6,300 Hand Sanitizers to Korea Military Academy Cadets

Afrozone, a leading specialized company in stem cell dermatology (Chairman Kim Bong-jun), donated 6,300 hand sanitizers in May to support cadets of the Korea Military Academy, whose outdoor and external activities have been reduced due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. The donation was made to all cadets, soldiers, and professors within the academy.

The donated hand sanitizers contain 70% ethanol meeting KP standards and have been tested by the Korea Analysis Testing & Research Institute (KATR) to confirm 99.9% sterilization efficacy, including reduction of harmful bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus.

Additionally, the product contains aloe extract, a natural ingredient that provides skin moisturizing effects, and is available in two floral scents, making it suitable for those who usually dislike the alcohol smell of hand sanitizers.

Currently, Chairman Kim Bong-jun serves as a director of the Korea Military Academy Development Fund Foundation. Beyond this hand sanitizer donation, he has continuously supported improving the living environment of cadets, including a donation of 100 million KRW to the academy’s development fund in 2015.

Chairman Kim stated, “Cadets who have chosen the path of military service to protect the homeland are going through difficult times due to COVID-19. With a supportive heart, we donated hand sanitizers to all cadets to boost their morale. We will continue to watch over and support the cadets to help their future.”

Meanwhile, Chairman Kim Bong-jun is a full member of the ‘Honor Society,’ a high-donor group of the Community Chest of Korea (Nationwide No. 1041, Seoul Region No. 135), and has a special passion for community development and nurturing talent. Over the past eight years, he has supported the dreams of children domestically and internationally through participation in World Vision campaigns, and for seven years has sponsored the ‘Pumda’ campaign supporting unaccompanied children by the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, striving to fulfill his responsibilities as a leader of social enterprises.
