[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] The LS ELECTRIC union executive team visited the global business department, which has been struggling with overseas sales activities due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, to deliver a message of support.


LS ELECTRIC recently held the 'LS ELECTRIC Labor-Management Partnership Day' at LS Yongsan Tower on Hangang-daero, Seoul, with CEO Nam Gi-won and the union executive team in attendance, announcing on the 26th that they united in their commitment to overcome the crisis through strengthened labor-management cooperation.


Yu Young-sik, chairman of the LS ELECTRIC union, along with branch chiefs and other executives, visited sales departments including the Global Business Headquarters at LS Yongsan Tower, delivering support kits composed of masks and other hygiene products to sales staff and listening to the difficulties experienced by on-site workers in production and sales.


Chairman Yu said, "In these more challenging times than ever, the union will strive to support employees on the front lines of sales with the highest product quality," adding, "We will put our heads together in the spirit of coexistence to share the pain and overcome the crisis together."


CEO Nam expressed gratitude to the union, saying, "I thank the union for their efforts to maintain and develop the tradition of labor-management cooperation based on mutual trust," and added, "We will prioritize the health and safety of company employees as our highest value and do our best in investments and system improvements to achieve this."
