Ladies Asian Tour Series "Starting in June~"... First Tournament is DB Group Korea Women's Open The 2021 season of the Ladies Asian Tour kicks off in June at the DB Group Korea Women's Open. A panoramic view of the Rainbow Hills Golf Course, a fierce battleground.

The Ladies Asian Tour (LAT), organized by the Asia Golf Leaders Forum (AGLF), is embarking on a grand journey. The starting point is the DB Group 35th Korea Women's Open, held on the 17th of next month at Rainbow Hills Golf Club in Eumseong, Chungbuk. Last year, the sponsor changed from Kia Motors to DB Group this year, and the battleground also moved from Bears Best in Cheongna, Incheon to Rainbow Hills.

The LAT series continues with the Hana Financial Group Championship in September and the Hana Financial Group Singapore Women's Open in December. AGLF announced in a briefing session last March that it plans to hold at least three tournaments in the 2021 season. Twenty people participated, including seven LAT operating committee members and thirteen representatives from women's golf associations and organizations across Asia, with plans to expand to five to six tournaments in 2022. The total prize money amounts to 5.2 billion KRW.

The number of tournaments will increase to seven with the addition of the Simone Indonesia Women's Open (tentative name), the Thailand Ladies Championship, the newly established 2023 Indonesia Women's Open, and the inclusion of existing tournaments in Japan and Thailand. This is an unusual move in light of the reduction of the LPGA Tour's 'Asian Swing.' Park Paul, Secretary General of AGLF, explained, "The LAT series will officially launch in 2021," adding, "We are currently pursuing annual naming sponsors."
