Social Service Agent Arrested for Causing Death of Ex-Partner

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kang Sharon] The Miryang Police Station in Gyeongnam announced on the 21st that they have arrested social service worker A (in his 20s) on charges of murder for stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death with a weapon.

A is accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend B (in her 20s) multiple times with a weapon he had prepared in advance on a national highway in Miryang City at 7:17 PM on the 20th, and then fleeing the scene.

B was transported to the hospital but died.

A fled to a nearby mountain but returned to the scene and was caught by the police.

He admitted to the police, saying, "During an argument, B reported to the police, so I committed the crime."

The police determined that the two had been dating for nearly six months and broke up two weeks ago.

The police plan to apply for an arrest warrant after investigating the exact circumstances of the incident with A.
