Order from 500 products at 1,000 stores nationwide, then visit at your preferred time with 'Yogiyo'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] GS Retail's convenience store GS25 announced on the 20th that it will launch the 'Pickup25' service, allowing customers to order products and then visit the store to pick them up.
Through the delivery app 'Yogiyo' in the takeout category, customers first select the Pickup25-GS25 store they wish to visit, choose products, make payment, and decide the desired pickup time. The order details are then notified to the store. Once the store prepares the products, an alert is sent to the customer to pick them up. The service usage fee is free.
By using this service, customers can reduce the time spent shopping and paying at the store. In particular, for 'Chicken25', which requires cooking time, customers who order through the Pickup25 service can receive warm and delicious products at their desired time. Alcohol pickup is also possible upon ID verification at the time of product pickup.
GS25 will initially start the service at about 1,000 stores nationwide with approximately 500 products, and plans to gradually expand the number of operating stores and available products.
To celebrate the opening of Pickup25, GS25 is offering a 5,000 KRW discount on Chicken25 (one type of Thonsal Chicken) until the 31st. Additionally, by using the subscription economy service 'Superclip' operated on Yogiyo, customers can receive an additional 3,000 KRW discount per order for orders over 10,000 KRW, excluding some products.
Sung Chan-gan, head of the GS25 Convenience Store MD Division, said, "We will introduce various differentiated services that save customers' shopping time and increase satisfaction while improving store operation efficiency."
