[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Hyundai Department Store announced on the 19th that starting next month, it will operate a VIP membership called ‘Hyundai Outlet Premium Club’ that can be used at all outlet stores to attract big-spending customers.
The Hyundai Outlet Premium Club targets a total of about 18,000 customers, including approximately 6,000 H Point members of the Hyundai Department Store Group integrated membership who purchased more than 10 million KRW cumulatively at all eight Hyundai Outlet stores nationwide last year regardless of the number of visits, and about 12,000 customers who ranked in the top 20% in cumulative purchase amount over the past three months at each store.
Hyundai Outlet Premium Club customers will receive free beverage coupons (4 per month at Premium Outlets, 2 per day at City Outlets and City Malls) and 3 hours of free parking at all stores. In addition, they will be given six ‘Plus Point’ discount coupons that can be used like cash when purchasing over a certain amount.
Hyundai Department Store will also introduce specialized services exclusively for VIP customers at Premium Outlets. On the 21st, it will open an exclusive lounge for the Hyundai Outlet Premium Club on the 3rd floor of Hyundai Premium Outlet Daejeon, and operate a dedicated parking lot for these customers.
A Hyundai Department Store official said, “With the introduction of this Premium Club, customers will receive benefits every time they visit the outlets, and the outlets expect a lock-in effect by securing loyal customers. We plan to expand differentiated services that can continuously attract customers, not only through the VIP membership program.”
