Peacock, Emart's representative convenient home meal brand, has collaborated with Line Friends' globally popular character BT21 to launch snack food products.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Emart's representative convenient home meal brand Peacock announced on the 19th that it has collaborated with Line Friends' globally popular character BT21 to launch snack products.
BT21 is a globally popular character dreaming of becoming space stars, consisting of Koya, RJ, Shooky, Mang, Chimmy, Tata, Cooky, and Van, and is highly favored by the MZ generation. Emart plans to expand Peacock's customer base and add fun to purchasing Peacock products through this collaboration.
The newly introduced products include Peacock BT21 Crispy Juicy Dumplings in Spicy and Meat flavors, Crispy Chewy Seaweed Roll Tempura, Spicy Cheese Tteokbokki, Mozzarella Crispy Hot Dog, Sweet Chewy Glutinous Rice Hotteok, and Johnsonville Sausage Army Stew, totaling seven items.
Developed as convenient home meals under the concept of tasting the flavors of Seoul through Peacock, these snack items can be easily prepared using an air fryer or microwave. This summer, the collaboration products will sequentially be released seasonally with Asian flavors in summer, New York flavors in autumn, and European flavors in winter, continuing the partnership.
On the 28th, to commemorate the launch of Peacock BT21 collaboration products, BT21's multi-talented gourmet 'RJ' will upload mukbang content on BT21's SNS to engage with customers. Until the 26th, a 20% discount event is held when purchasing Peacock BT21 products with an event card, allowing customers to enjoy popular Peacock snack products without burden.
An Emart official said, "We continue collaborations with character brands for the fun consumer group in their 20s and 30s who value fun when purchasing products," adding, "From a customer-centric perspective, we will develop differentiated products so that customers of various age groups can visit Emart and present marketing strategies that are enjoyable."
