According to the quarantine authorities, Seoul city, and other local governments, a total of 528 new confirmed cases tested positive from midnight to 6 p.m. on that day.

By city and province, there were 210 cases in Seoul, 134 in Gyeonggi, 26 in Busan, 22 each in Incheon and Ulsan, 21 in Gyeongbuk, 19 in Chungbuk, 17 in Daegu, 14 in Gyeongnam, 13 in Chungnam, 11 in Gangwon, 7 in Jeonbuk, 5 in Jeonnam, 3 each in Gwangju and Daejeon, and 1 in Jeju.
Among the 17 cities and provinces nationwide, Sejong has not yet reported any new confirmed cases.
Since the tally closes at midnight, the number of new confirmed cases announced as of 0:00 on the 19th is expected to increase further to the 600 range.
The previous day, 116 cases were added after 6 p.m., closing at a final count of 528 cases.
From the 12th to this day, the number of new confirmed cases over the past week by day was 635 → 715 → 747 → 681 → 610 → 619 → 528.
With a daily average of 649 cases over the week, the key indicator for adjusting the 'social distancing' level, the daily average of locally transmitted cases is about 624, which still falls within the social distancing standard of level 2.5 (nationwide 400?500 cases or more, etc.).
