Damyang-gun Takes Active Measures to Crack Down on Real Estate Speculation Activities

Formation of Real Estate Stabilization Task Force... Focused Crackdown on Illegal Activities 추진

Damyang-gun Takes Active Measures to Crack Down on Real Estate Speculation Activities

[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] On the 18th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it has actively taken measures to protect actual demanders and stabilize real estate market prices in line with the government's policies to eradicate real estate speculation and expand supply.

The county is concerned that the recent sharp rise in real estate prices, despite no special factors, could become an obstacle to the supply of apartment complexes and investment attraction.

Accordingly, the county decided to operate a T/F until the real estate market stabilizes, focusing on cracking down on various illegal activities disrupting real estate prices, establishing a market monitoring system, and ensuring transparent transaction order.

The Real Estate Stabilization Measures T/F plans to strongly enforce on-site crackdowns to eradicate speculative forces, including ▲ operation of a real estate illegal transaction reporting center ▲ strengthening detailed investigations of actual real transaction prices ▲ intensive monitoring of the real estate market ▲ guidance and inspection of real estate brokerage offices ▲ crackdown on illegal activities within land transaction permission zones (forgery of sales contracts, false residence registration, name trust, etc.).

County Governor Choi Hyung-sik said, “Real estate prices have risen to a worrisome level, causing difficulties in supplying apartment complexes and attracting investment within the county, which ultimately harms the residents. We will strictly punish illegal activities detected through active administration by related departments regarding real estate transactions, farmland and mountain land conversion, farmland acquisition, and various development activities.”
