In this regard, Gwangsan-gu recently signed a business agreement with the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center and Tina Entertainment to expand the sales channels of social economy enterprise products.
The purpose was to seek a breakthrough through live commerce as social economy enterprises faced management crises due to the spread of COVID-19.
According to the agreement, the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center will provide a studio free of charge for online promotion.
Tina Entertainment, a local marketing platform specialist company, plans to directly conduct live commerce for four social economy enterprises in the district by deploying professional personnel.
Gwangsan-gu will provide administrative support such as discovering and recommending excellent social economy enterprises.
The social economy enterprise live commerce will be conducted through Naver Shopping Live until next month.
A Gwangsan-gu official said, “We will further expand online marketing to maximize the promotional effect of social economy enterprise products and services,” adding, “We will also revitalize the overall social economy, which has been depressed due to COVID-19.”
Meanwhile, live commerce is an online live broadcast where sellers and consumers communicate in real time while introducing products. It has attracted attention as a new sales method combining broadcasting and shopping amid the expansion of non-face-to-face consumption due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
