Chosun University Student Council Elects Governmentseong as President and Jo Jeonguk as Vice President

According to Chosun University on the 18th, Jeong Bu-seong (Sports Industry, 4th year) ran as the sole candidate under the name ‘Jeong (正)’ in the 34th student council election and was finally elected.

The term lasts until December 31.

For vice president, Jo Jeong-wook (Materials Science and Engineering, 4th year) was elected.

The 2021 student president election was held online on the 13th.

The vote counting was broadcast live on the ‘Chosun University Central Election Commission’ Facebook page.

As a result, the ‘Jeong’ student council received 71.22% of the votes in favor.

The name of this student council, ‘Jeong (正),’ means ‘approaching students with a righteous and upright heart,’ chosen to be friendly yet correct in their approach to fellow students.

President Jeong Bu-seong said, “I will always stand in the position of my fellow students to improve problems and faithfully fulfill the role of student representative.”
