Doing Our Best to Resolve Complaints as the Busy Farming Season Begins

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Hapcheon County Council in Gyeongnam held the May regular council meeting on the morning of the 18th to listen to the county's major business plans and discuss the council's operational schedule, as well as to hear the 2021 major business plans of the Korea Rural Community Corporation Hapcheon Branch.

At the meeting, council members stated, "We hope that the Korea Rural Community Corporation Hapcheon Branch will prioritize enhancing communication with the county to promote the convenience of farmers, and do their best to resolve civil complaints as the busy farming season begins."

Chairman Bae Mong-hee said in his greeting, "Following the Minister of Environment's inspection of our county's flood damage site yesterday and the preparation of compensation procedures due to the amendment of the Environmental Dispute Mediation Act last month, please make every effort to ensure that the affected residents receive satisfactory compensation."

He continued, "As the full-scale farming season begins, please focus administrative efforts not only to resolve the shortage of rural labor through appropriate workforce management but also to ensure that there is no inconvenience to the lives of county residents."
