[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association delivered COVID-19 prevention supplies to Jangheung-gun on the 12th.
According to Jangheung-gun on the 18th, the prevention supplies consist of 100,000 KF94 masks, 10,000 bottles of 500mL hand sanitizer, and 4,000 hand sanitizing tissues, which will be distributed to disaster-vulnerable groups in Jangheung-gun.
Kim Jeong-hee, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, said, "I hope these supplies will help to some extent in preventing the spread of COVID-19."
Jangheung-gun Governor Jeong Jong-sun expressed gratitude, saying, "Thank you for helping prevent COVID-19 among disaster-vulnerable groups in Jangheung-gun," and added, "The prevention supplies will be carefully delivered to the disaster-vulnerable groups."
Meanwhile, Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, established in 1961, has been conducting various relief activities, and since 2016, it has partnered with Jangheung-gun on the disaster crisis family housing support project called the 'Gift House Campaign,' providing homes to a total of seven households to date.
In December last year, they also extended warm support by donating 454 winter supplies worth 22 million won.
