[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Shinhan Bank announced on the 18th that it is recruiting the first cohort of Shinhan Career On, a program supporting the first steps of specialized high school students into society, through the youth employment and startup support platform 'Shinhan Square Bridge: Youth.'
Shinhan Career On is a social impact creation program under the Shinhan Square Bridge project that supports youth employment and startups. It offers specialized high school students opportunities to participate in startup internships and provides startups with suitable talent matching solutions.
This program will recruit 300 graduates and prospective graduates of specialized high schools. Prospective graduates can choose a 4-week on-site practical training course, while graduates can select an 8-week internship-linked training course according to their circumstances.
The training courses are fully free of charge, and students participating in the program will receive ▲ AI-based job aptitude tests and employment support education ▲ on-site practical training ▲ internship opportunities, and personalized portfolio creation support necessary for future job seeking is also planned.
Additionally, recruitment of startups that will work closely with specialized high school students through Shinhan Career On has been ongoing since the 3rd. Participating startups will receive business expenses and promotional support, along with free consulting on HR management and Employee Value Proposition (EVP) development.
A Shinhan Bank official stated, "Shinhan Square Bridge: Youth will serve as a bridge connecting specialized high school talents and startups. Through the Shinhan Career On program, we aim to help specialized high school students build practical skills and experience to enter society stably, and contribute to talent acquisition for startups facing hiring difficulties by establishing customized new employee recruitment processes."
