Doosan Co., Ltd. Donates 170 Million Won from Employees to 'Babounanumm' Charity

[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] Doosan Corporation announced on the 18th that it has donated 170 million KRW collected from its employees to the foundation 'Babo-ui Nanum'.

This donation was raised by Doosan employees over the past year and will be used for the social contribution projects 'Cheongchun Start!' and 'Mom's Future', selected by the Employee Fund Committee.

'Cheongchun Start!', conducted in partnership with the Seoul Scholarship Foundation, provides academic encouragement funds to vulnerable college freshmen, while 'Mom's Future', carried out with Dongbang Social Welfare Association, supports single mothers with employment and entrepreneurship education as well as child-rearing expenses to help them achieve economic independence.
