WYSIWYG Studio Acquires OST Production Company... "Boosting Tentpole Drama Production in the Second Half"

Pop Music is a company that has produced drama OSTs such as "Cross," "Let's Eat 3," and "Son the Guest." It is recognized for enhancing the completeness of content with trendy and sophisticated OSTs. Recently, it was in charge of producing the musical for the drama "Crash Landing on You," which ended successfully last year.

Through this acquisition of Pop Music, Wysiwyg plans to internalize music content including OSTs. Several tentpole works such as "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate" and "Black Bride" are scheduled consecutively in the second half of this year. By securing an OST production pipeline, Wysiwyg is expected to gain momentum in producing these dramas.

This acquisition of Pop Music by Wysiwyg is also expected to create synergy effects with its subsidiaries. When Pop Music, which has musical production capabilities based on the verified IP "Crash Landing on You," stages performances, the content library of "WizOnScene," a musical live OTT platform company, is expected to be further strengthened.

Additionally, collaboration with "NP," which has recently established an XR stage and completed virtual production infrastructure, is also possible. In the era of non-face-to-face interactions, the exhibition and performance industries are seeking new opportunities through OTT-oriented global streaming services using digital sets, so synergy between the two companies is anticipated.
