Including the previously announced 9 cases, the total number of new cases reported yesterday is 11.
Case 2636 in Gwangju is related to an elementary school located in Nam-gu, who developed symptoms during self-quarantine and was finally confirmed positive.
Case 2637 in Gwangju is linked to an infection among colleagues and acquaintances in Seo-gu. So far, 9 people have been identified as related cases.
Additionally, yesterday, local infections spread through various routes including cases from other regions, churches, entertainment establishments, high schools, and unknown infection routes.
The cumulative number of confirmed cases in the Gwangju area is 2,637.
