Vietnam Accommodation Brokerage Service Gotujoy Raises Series A+ Investment Worth 4 Billion KRW

[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Jo] Vietnam accommodation brokerage platform Go2Joy announced on the 17th that it has attracted a total investment of 4 billion KRW from HB Investment, SV Investment, Platform Partners Asset Management, and others. The cumulative investment amount is 7.3 billion KRW.

Go2Joy is a Vietnam-based hotel accommodation brokerage O2O (online-to-offline) service founded in 2017 by CEO Byun Seongmin, a former SK Telecom employee. It provides a service that allows users to quickly search and book nearby accommodations using location information.

It was the first in Vietnam to introduce hourly and half-day accommodation booking features, attracting local users. Another differentiating factor is that users can check accommodations through 360-degree images via the application. With over 150,000 user reviews, it leads the local market share.

Through this investment attraction, Go2Joy plans to solidify its position as Vietnam’s leading accommodation O2O company and actively leap forward as an innovative service in the Southeast Asian market. To this end, Go2Joy will enhance its system not only on mobile apps but also on PC web to maximize user convenience.

CEO Byun said, “With the determination to create new trends in the Vietnam local hotel market, we will continue to strengthen our existing business capabilities and solidify growth and leadership through expansion into the Southeast Asian market.”
