"Our Village, Our Protection!" Village Chief Autonomous Quarantine Team

Gyeongnam Province and Gyeongnam Branch of the Association of Village Leaders Collaborate for Comprehensive COVID-19 Prevention Efforts

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 17th that it will eliminate blind spots in quarantine prevention through the operation of the Village Autonomous Quarantine Team led by the Lee Tongjang Association.

The village autonomous quarantine team activities have been promoted since the 6th through collaboration between Gyeongnam Province and the Lee Tongjang Federation Gyeongnam Branch.

They inform village residents about infectious disease prevention guidelines and provide information on vaccination reservation matters to seniors aged 60 and over.

Additionally, if related organizations and groups support quarantine supplies, they plan to conduct village-level disinfection as well.

Lee Samhee, Director of the Provincial Autonomous Administration Bureau, said, "We are very grateful to the Lee Tongjang Association for proposing and operating the 'Lee Tongjang Village Autonomous Quarantine Team' activities for the total COVID-19 response," adding, "We will do our best until the blind spots in quarantine are eliminated."
