Lotte Central Research Institute Conducts Blood Donation Volunteer Activity

On the 14th, employees at Lotte Central Research Institute in Magok-dong, Seoul, are participating in a blood donation volunteer activity of love to overcome the COVID-19 crisis.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Lotte Central Research Institute announced on the 17th that about 30 employees participated in a blood donation volunteer activity on the 14th. The blood donation was carried out voluntarily by employees to help resolve the recent blood supply shortage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The blood donation activity was organized by scheduling the number of people boarding the blood donation bus by time to minimize waiting time and close contact, and was conducted while practicing social distancing to prevent COVID-19 infection.

Meanwhile, since the COVID-19 outbreak, Lotte Central Research Institute has conducted various non-face-to-face volunteer activities such as DIY mask-making volunteer work, making sleep vests to support underprivileged infants and young children, and producing play kits for the elderly to prevent dementia.
