Recommendation of Remote University Curriculums Suitable for Age and Occupation
Providing Information on Completed Courses, Related Majors, and Scholarships
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] The Ministry of Education will launch the customized curriculum recommendation service for adult learners, 'Matjumbaeumgil,' on the 17th.
Matjumbaeumgil uses artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze the curricula of 20 distance universities (Korea National Open University and 19 cyber universities) to provide personalized recommendations for adult learners who face time and spatial constraints.
Based on user information such as gender, age, and occupation, the service analyzes the course completion data of similar distance university learners to guide the optimal customized curriculum. It also provides information on completed courses, linked majors, scholarships, and more.
Matjumbaeumgil offers an education information search and learner aptitude test service, allowing convenient access to major information (distance universities, general universities, credit bank system), national certifications, and job information.
The education information search service enables users to find department, lecture, and course information from distance universities, as well as general university major information from Worknet and Qnet, national certification and job information, and credit bank system major information all in one place.
The Ministry of Education plans to expand the curriculum information providers to include junior colleges in the future.
