A man in his 20s who committed obscene acts while watching children at a library surrenders to police

On the 14th, the Cheonan Seobuk Police Station announced that they have apprehended and are investigating a man in his 20s, identified as A, on charges including public obscenity.

A is accused of performing an obscene act behind a bookshelf in the apartment library around 4 p.m. on the 8th, while looking at children sitting nearby. It is also reported that he falsified the library entry log.

A police official stated, "We are also investigating A's violation of quarantine guidelines." The footage of A's obscene act recorded on the facility's closed-circuit television (CCTV) spread on social media (SNS), causing public outrage among netizens.
