Hwasun-gun Recruiting 179 Participants for Public Work and Community Jobs

[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeollanam-do Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 14th that it will recruit a total of 179 participants, including 148 for the public work project and 31 for the local community job project, from the 17th to the 24th.

The public work and community job projects, promoted as financially supported job projects, provide direct employment opportunities to vulnerable groups in the job market to stabilize their livelihoods and revitalize the local economy.

Hwasun-gun provided jobs to 199 people in the first half of the year (February to June).

In the second half, a total project cost of 1.42 billion KRW will be invested to promote financially supported job projects for five months.

The public work project will carry out 50 detailed projects focused on youth jobs, including informatization promotion, public service support, and environmental cleanup. The local community job project will promote four detailed projects such as support for multicultural families and maintenance of the Dolmen historic site.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, capable of working, have a household income at or below 65% of the median income standard, and own assets less than 300 million KRW.

Those wishing to participate should prepare identification and related documents and submit an application form to the administrative welfare center in their resident registration area.

The county will review applicants based on various selection criteria such as qualifications, income, assets, and participation history, and finalize the candidates by next month.

Selected candidates will be individually notified via text message and assigned to workplaces starting July 1 after signing labor contracts.
